No, not all the dresses and accessories we sell online are available in our Kapiti boutique; some are ordered from our international suppliers, others are handmade. Please note the delivery times for each item varies accordingly and as indicated on our website.

The dress sizes available in our store vary depending on the designer. In the Tania Olsen range, we offer sizes 6-40. In the Indiebride London range, we offer sizes 8-20. In our pre-loved range, we have dresses from size 6-22 in stock. 

Our prices range from $250 – $4999 with special deals throughout the year.

Our lead times vary depending on whether we have the dresses in stock. We aim for the following delivery times:

• In-Stock Items – within 1 week.
• Ordered Items available at our international suppliers – within 2 weeks.
• Ordered Items not in stock with our international suppliers – 12 weeks.
• Handmade dresses – 4-6 months.

For handmade dresses, it is best to be ready 8-10 months before your wedding to allow time for your alterations. 

Whether you’ve ordered new or pre-loved dress it’s normal for every bride to need alterations for that perfect fit.

We do not offer alteration services, but we can refer our preferred seamstress partners, or of course you can use your own if you prefer. Most dresses can be altered down by 2 sizes.

No, our online and bridal boutique offers new and pre-loved wedding dresses.

We carefully curate and inspect each dress to ensure its quality and condition meet our high standards.

Yes, we offer two packages:

Premium Package – $25

Our Premium Package is perfect for the bride who wants to try on multiple dresses in a shorter amount of time. You’ll have an hour-long session to try on as many dresses as you like. You’ll receive a personalised body and skin tone assessment to ensure that you find the dress that you love best. Includes Bridal Party up to 3 people.

Platinum Package – $45

Our Platinum Package offers an unforgettable luxurious and glamorous experience. Invite your bridal party and share a glass of bubbles while you try on as many dresses as you like in a one-and-a-half-hour session. You’ll receive a personalised body and skin tone assessment to help you choose the perfect dress. With our Platinum Package, you’ll feel like a true queen on your special day! Includes Bridal Party up to 5 people.

As per New Zealand law, we comply with consumer protection regulations regarding pre-loved goods.

Please note that due to the unique nature of pre-loved wedding dresses, all sales are final, and we do not offer returns or exchanges.

Yes, we understand the importance of securing your dream dress. If you are interested in a particular pre-loved wedding dress, we can offer a short-term reservation period to allow you time to finalise your decision.

As pre-loved wedding dresses are sold in their current condition, we do not offer warranties or guarantees beyond what is required by New Zealand law.

However, we assure you that each dress is thoroughly inspected and represented accurately in our store.

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along family members or friends whose opinions you value.

Our Premium Package allows a Bridal Party of up to 3 people.

Our Platinum Package offers an unforgettable luxurious and glamorous experience and includes a Bridal Party of up to 5 people.

Unfortunately our bookings do not allow children.

Certainly! We offer a selection of accessories, such as veils, headpieces, and belts, to complement your chosen pre-loved wedding dress. Our accessories are curated to match various styles and preferences.

As much as we appreciate your interest, we do not offer direct trades for pre-loved wedding dresses.

However, you can consider consigning your current dress with us and use the funds from the sale towards purchasing another pre-loved dress from our collection.

The purchase price of our dresses does not include fitting and alteration costs.

Alterations are an additional service that can be referred separately based on the specific alterations required.

Pre-loved dresses are dresses that have been previously owned and worn. They may have some signs of wear and tear, but they are still in good condition. We do our best to accurately describe the condition of each dress on our website, but we recommend that you try the dress on in our store before purchasing, as some dresses may have been altered before.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on pre-loved dresses, unless the dress is defective. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can contact us to arrange a refund or exchange.

We can order the dress in as long as a 50% deposit has been received. If you do decide that the dress is not for you, then you can choose to forfeit the deposit or use it against a dress already in stock
